Booking Policy

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions and the web-based booking

form constitute the entire Agreement concerning the provision of an airport

transfer service (“Service”) between you and Town Trip. Completion of the booking form and use of

the Service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.

You must allow sufficient time when booking your taxi to allow for the check-in times required by your airline and for any

delays caused by traffic conditions. Town Trip shall not be responsible for any delay caused by

your failure to allow enough time to reach your destination or if the passengers are

not ready for collection at the booked time.

Using our App

Please note; When booking through the app there might be a 15 minutes window during our busy period.

For long distance journeys especially Airport transfers please call us on 01424 44 70 70

to make sure that your booking could be accommodated and ask for a quote.

Town Trip reserves the right to cancel the booking if it's been

double booked through the app failure and

could not practically be accommodated.

Pick ups from Airports

Our pick up points from Airports will be at the relevant car parks,

customers are responsible for car parking fees and parking receipts will be provided.

 The quotation will include a [30] minute waiting period after the agreed booking time but not the cost of car parking,

therefore we would always advise customers to allow a sufficient amount of time between landing and booking their car.

The driver will settle at a parking space and the office will contact the customer to give details of the drivers location.

 Town Trip will charge for waiting at its standard rates after the initial 30 minute period has expired.

 Our pick up procedure has so far been welcomed by our customers and has proven to

be a very smooth and relaxing experience.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Town Trip Ltd as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel/change a booking please contact us by phoning our office on 01424 44 70 70.

Cancellations of all local and long haul journeys made prior to 12 hours before the booking time will not incur a  charge.

Cancellations of long haul journeys made within 12 hours of the agreed booking time may incur a charge up to the full amount

based on the circumstances and the notice hours If you cancel a long haul booking after the vehicle has been dispatched then

a charge will be incurred; the charge will be based on the distance/time that the allocated driver has travelled/spent

prior to the point of cancellation.All journeys originating at an airport (which are not return journeys where

Town Trip has taken you to the airport) must be prepaid in full at least

three days before the date of travel.

Town Trip will endeavour to check for flight delays

before the driver leaves for the airport but shall be under no obligation to do so.

Failure to advise of cancelled and rescheduled flights may result in transport being provided as per the

original details on the booking. In this instance, Town Trip Ltd cannot be held responsible, and no refund will be given.

As a general rule journeys from airports are dispatched up to 3 hours before flight arrival, journeys within the surrounding area

of Hastings are normally dispatched up to twenty minutes before their due time. Town Trip shall be entitled to cancel all services

and provide refunds in the event of a declared national emergency, riot, war, fuel shortage, extreme weather or terrorist

attack, flight delayed over 2 hour, or other circumstances beyond its control. If the car breaks down during your

journey Town Trip will endeavour to arrange an alternative car to complete the journey

as soon as practically possible.

In the instance of a late cancellation fee

being levied for non-prepaid journeys an invoice

for the fee will be issued. The invoice must be paid within 7 working

days of invoice date and any unpaid invoices will incur a maximum 15% extra

charge of the original invoice amount. The time stipulated for payment shall be

of the essence of the Agreement. Failure to pay within the period specified shall

entitle us to write to you and upon the expiration of seven days’ notice,

to charge you for costs and expenses incurred in recovering late payments,

and to charge interest at the rate then in force pursuant to the Late

Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as at the

due date or on the above rate whichever is the greater.
